British Airways Extends Flexible Travel Options for Middle East Flights

British Airways has announced extended flexibility for customers travelling to and from several Middle East destinations following continued regional uncertainty and airspace restrictions.

The airline has confirmed that some flights have been cancelled or temporarily suspended, including services to and from Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Tel Aviv, and Riyadh.

To support affected passengers, British Airways is offering additional flexibility for eligible bookings.

Full Refund Available

Customers travelling to or from the affected destinations up to and including 31 October 2026 can request a full refund, even if their flight is still scheduled to operate.

This applies to tickets:

  • Issued on or before 1 April 2026

  • For travel between 28 February and 31 October 2026

Change Your Travel Plans

Passengers who prefer to travel later can also change their booking without paying a change fee.

Eligible customers can:

  • Move their journey to a later date on the same route.

  • Rebook onto another British Airways route.

Please note that any fare difference may still apply.

These flexible booking options are available for travel to or from Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Jeddah, and Riyadh.

Stay Updated

British Airways says it is continuing to monitor the situation closely and will contact affected customers directly with updates. Travellers are encouraged to check the latest flight information before travelling.
